  • New support for serialization mode for reduced complexity (identity mode also available but—only for custom install)
  • Added Ehcache monitoring panel in developer console.
Additional Improvements
  • Improved DGC Performance
  • Stability improvements for Hibernate console.
  • Improved Performance for Capacity based eviction for Hibernate.
Deprecated Features
  • Use of tim-distributed-cache released with 3.1.0 is deprecated. The new integration with Ehcahe 1.7 is the recommended solution for distributed caching. See Terracotta Distributed Cache for details.
Added Platform Support
  • Support for Oracle BEA JRockit and Weblogic as well as IBM JDK and WebSphere (via express installs)
  • Fix for Weblogic 10.3 Hibernate issue FORGE-560
