During the Terracotta Release Cycle, we upgrade the Forge Project versions in a particular branch to be compatible with the next release of the Terracotta Kit. e.g. 2.7.3-SNAPSHOT becomes 2.7.3. The cycle lasts approx two weeks.
This will impact the current working branch, e.g. tc-2.7, it will not affect trunk.
During this time to connect to a working maven repository you will need to connect to Kong. To see kong at all you need to be inside the Terracotta network or connected to VPN.
To use these repositories you need to declare them in your $HOME/.m2/settings.xml file. I've attached an example that you can use as a starting point. You will need to declare the repositories in both the <repositories> section and the <pluginRepositories> section. Of course, to see kong at all you'll need to connect to VPN.
External users should contact forgemasters@terracotta.org for help if you are impacted during our release cycle.
