Terracotta Server is maintained by Terracotta, Inc., a Software AG company. Terracotta engineers lead the development of Terracotta Server, which is made available as both an open source project and as part of the commercial Terracotta and BigMemory Max products.
Open Source License
The open source Terracotta Server is licensed under the Terracotta Public License 2.0. This is a very liberal license based upon the Mozilla Public License. Free for use, only requiring attribution when redistributing as part of a larger work.
Most of our other projects and libraries are offered under the Apache 2.0 license.
